If you have epilepsy or asthma, consult a healthcare practitioner prior to use. Keep out of reach of children. Discontinue use if irritation occurs. This oil is relatively rich in ketones. Avoid use if you have a history of epilepsy, and use only under the guidance of a qualified aromatherapy practitioner. Sage's name derives from the Latin "salvare" (to save/heal). Ancient Romans regarded it as a cure-all herb, and medieval Europe had a saying: "Why should a man die while sage grows in his garden?" 鼠尾草之名源自拉丁文「salvare」（拯救），古羅馬人視其為萬能藥草，中世紀歐洲更流傳「家有鼠尾草，何需醫生」的諺語。
