Rosemary's name comes from the Latin "ros marinus" (dew of the sea). Ancient Greek students reportedly wore rosemary garlands while studying, and medieval Europe widely regarded it as a symbol of memory and purification. 迷迭香之名源自拉丁文「ros marinus」（海之朝露），古希臘學生相信佩戴迷迭香花環有助於學習，中世紀歐洲則普遍將其視為記憶與淨化的象徵植物。
